Hermes Agent — Multi-Platform AI Assistant
A self-hosted AI agent I run on my own server. Connected to several chat channels at once, running scheduled jobs and handling multiple tasks in parallel.
Context
Daily operations need fast responses and consistent record-keeping — but waiting for me to open a laptop every time is simply impractical.
Challenge
Repetitive work (recording, summarizing, reminding) eats up time and is easily forgotten. Information is scattered across channels.
What I built
- An AI agent with terminal, file, web search, and browser automation access
- Several chat channels unified under a single identity
- Automated task scheduler that delivers results to a target channel
- Parallel sub-task orchestration for heavier workloads
- Cross-session memory and a reusable procedure library
Result
Repetitive manual work now runs automatically on a schedule — reports arrive without being asked for.
